This is a short article on how Martial Arts can help us cope with stress, anxiety, and depression.

Personally, I have had ongoing issues throughout my adult life. I have had to deal with severe depression, very deep lows. Finding myself in a dark place with feelings of anxiety and despair, hopelessness, and helplessness. Turning to Martial Arts has been a Godsend for me. Martial Arts has largely helped me over many dark times in my life. Being able to get away from what is going on for an hour or two has been instrumental in overcoming those dark times. Having something to distract me from life's problems has been an enormous help for me. Having a place to go, sweat, move, and best of all for me, having a place where I can punch, kick, and grapple a smile onto my face.
